About This Spot
Stepping into Yuzuki is like entering a quiet nook tucked away in the heart of Kanazawa, where the bustle of the city softens into a gentle hum. The warm light and intimate seating invite you to slow down, settle in, and savor a moment that feels both familiar and special. There’s a subtle rhythm here—the quick kindness of the friendly staff, the comforting aroma of broth simmering gently, and the soft clatter of bowls and chopsticks weaving together like a simple, human melody.
The atmosphere is unpretentious but inviting, a place where locals and travelers alike find themselves lingering over steaming bowls of ramen. It’s casual yet thoughtful, creating a space where every detail matters from the fresh, zesty notes of yuzu that brighten the soup to the tender, savory slices of chashu that melt effortlessly on the tongue. Whether the evening is marked by the gentle patter of rain or the hum of nearby footsteps, there’s a calm joy to be found here—one made richer by sharing food that has its roots in tradition but a twisted, vibrant character all its own.
When you arrive, you may notice the familiar bustle of a neighborhood spot run by people who clearly love what they do, their warmth tangible without needing grand gestures. The experience includes moments small and human: a careful hand guiding you through the menu, a subtle encouragement to try the extra noodles their chefs so proudly serve, or the simple delight of pairing ramen with a crisp yuzu sour or a well-chilled beer. It’s the kind of place where the everyday turns into a quiet celebration of flavors and connection, giving even the simplest gyoza or a bowl of richly layered Tan Tan ramen a feeling of heartfelt craftsmanship.
Yuzuki is more than a meal; it’s a pause in the day, a place where strangers become welcome guests and every bite tells part of a story. Whether you come seeking familiar comforts or a fresh introduction to the delicate brightness yuzu brings, this little corner of Kanazawa invites you to stay a while, warm up, and discover something quietly joyful.

The ramen that dethroned the champ. When the extra noodles show up and you're told to try them before pouring them into your bowl...and wow! I got the Tan Tan. Slightly spicy with flavor! If you're in Kanazawa, it's a short walk from the train station. Come here. Our ramen was around 1,400-1,600¥ each English menu. Kiosk style ordering. Cash only.

Cute ramen shop with a vegetarian option (tan tan soup but specify vegetarian with staff). They also have edamame. The two staff were very kind helping us order and it was a lovely place to sit on a rainy evening. This was my first ramen in Japan and I loved it. Thank you so much!!

Just perfect. The yuzu ramen was tasty and rich. The tamtam ramen was terrific and spicy. The gyoza were the tastiest ever had. Sugoi! Six star, five isn't enough.

Fantastic Ramen! Unassuming spot with charming staff, great vibes and amazing flavor about 1000 yen per person but you could potentially spend less

The food was absolutely amazing, with something for everyone too; our toddler had delicious ginger pork rice! There was a couple running it who were so kind making us feel at home! Thank you so much Yuzuki for the opening our eyes to Ramen which we previously didn’t enjoy

A short review of a one-year-old visit, it was so very tasty that I still remember it with pleasure. I forgot the prices a little, but it was affordable. The ramen with grated fresh lemon was fantastic. Very friendly staff and a neat place, we ate two evenings. If we come again, we will come again.

Very nice clear soup ramen! Can choose with or without yuzu, they have sio soup, shoyu and some rich and spicy soup. Simple to press and order via machine. Take note they only accept coins and 1000 and 2000 yen but I guess you can change with them. Their gyozas are juicytoo! Spacious space and not noisy and limited seating

This modern Ramen spot a few minutes away from Kanazawa station serves modern bowls! Super tasty, and value for money! I ordered the Yuzu Shouyu Ramen priced at 950 yen (yes, under 1000) and walked away full and happy! The soup broth had this grassy scent...a bit unusual yes, but the taste hits different! Imagine the orthodox Shouyu flavor with that refreshing Yuzu tang! The Chashu toppings were also perfectly flame-grilled, and added an extra layer of taste and smokiness!
